What is DTP in hindi :- 

हेलो दोस्तों अपने कभी न कभी डीटीपी का नाम तो सुना ही होगा यदि नहीं सुना है तो चलिए आज हम इसी के बारे में बात करने जा रहे है 

DTP Full Form होता है DESKTOP Publishing होता है अर्थात अपनी मेज पर रखे Tools द्वारा ही प्रकाशन का Work करना, इसका व्यवहारिक अर्थ है – Computer और उससे जुडे tools द्वारा Publishing  का Work करना, दूसरे Words मे इस System मे पाठ्य Compose करने, Image आदि बनाने से लेकर उन्हे विभिन्न Paga पर स्थान देने अर्थात Set करने तक का सारा Work अपनी Table पर रखे Computer मे ही किया जाता है और Last मे ऐसी मास्टर प्रति Leser Printer पर Design करके Ready कर ली जाती है, जिसे आप किसी Design की विधि जैसे offset विधि से सीधे Page पर उतार सकते है और इच्छानुसार कितनी भी Page  छाप सकते है संक्षेप मे, अपने Desktop Computer की सहायता से पूरी तरह छापने योग्य दस्तावेज तैयार करना ही DTP ( Desktop publishing ) कहा जाता है, इसके लिये Many Type के Program उपलब्ध है, जिनके द्वारा आप Part मे बंटी हुई Information और सामाग्री को आपस मे Add कर एक संपूर्ण दस्तावेज बना सकते है।

DTP  की सुविधा व्यवसायिक Publishing ही नही  Office work के Area मे भी एक प्रमुख उपलब्धि है सभी छोटी Biggest Companies अपने Work के बारे मे Many Type की सामाग्री जैसे पैम्फलेट, Poster, Ads, Balance sheet , प्रगति पत्रिका, Books आदि प्रतिवर्ष Print कराती है,  पहले यह work हस्तचालित type Setting द्वारा किया जाता था, जिसमे प्रत्येक शब्द हाथ से Compose करना पडता है और Image या Graph का Block बनाना पडता है, Compose हो जाने के बाद उसकी Research करके उसे छापा जाता है, इस Work मे कभी भी पूर्ण संतुष्टि नही मिलती क्योंकि Work के बीच मे दस्तावेज मे कोई भी Large changes या Implementation करना Possible नही होता है।

लेकिन DTP की सुविधा उपलब्ध हो जाने से यह Work बहुत सरल, विविधापूर्ण और रूचिकर हो गया है इसमे Printing की Products पर हमारा पूर्ण Control रहता है, हम Letter को मनचाहे आकार और रूप मे ढाल सकते है और पलक झपकते ही उनका टाइपफेस या फॉण्ट  बदल सकते है, मनचाहे रंगो के चित्र बनाना उनका आकार बदलना और दस्तावेज मे कही भी स्थापित करना भी बंहुत सरल हो गया है और पूरी तरह संतुष्ट होने के बाद उनकी मास्टर प्रति छापकर अधिक प्रतियो  की छपाई हेतु दी जा सकती है, डीटीपी से प्रकाशन की सारी प्रक्रिया बहुत ही सरल और तेज हो गयी है, जिसके कारण मोटी मोटी पुस्तके भी कुछ ही दिनो मे छापकर तैयार कर दी जाती है आपके हाथो मे जो पुस्तक है, जो पुस्तक है, वह भी डीटीपी प्रणाली द्वारा ही तैयार की गयी है।

डीटीपी के कार्य के लिये मुख्यतः तीन वस्तुओ की आवश्यकता होती हैः एक पर्सनल कम्प्यूटर, एक लेजर प्रिंटर तथा डीटीपी का सॉफ्टवेयर , पर्सनल कम्प्यूटर मे पर्याप्त क्षमता की रैम तथा हार्ड डिस्क एवं माउस अवश्य होने चाहिए, अच्छी छपाई के लिये लेजर प्रिंटर  भी आवश्यक है वैसे प्रूफ आदि की छपाई साधारण डॉट मैट्रिक्स प्रिंटरो पर भी की जा सकती है, डीटीपी का वास्तविक कार्य इसके लिये उपयोग किये जाने वाले विशेष सॉफ्टवेयर  पैकेजो द्वारा किया जाता है।

When we localize a document, we must do DTP for each and every language. DTP is used for translated documents that involve preparing and setting up the files, formatting the localized documents, creating localized graphics, proofing and evaluating quality.

DTP File Format-

DTP is a page layout file format used by Publish-IT. DTP files contain page information such as text, images and formats. Publish-IT is Desktop publishing software, which can be used to create newsletters, brochures and other printable documents. DTP files can also be used as PDF files.

A desktop publishing system allows to used difference typefaces, specify various margins and justifications and embed illustration and graphic directly into the text. The most powerful desktop publishing system enable you to create illustrations, while less powerful systems let you insert illustration created other programs.

As word-processing programs becomes more and more powerful, the line separating such programs from desktop publishing system is becoming blurred. In general, DTP applications give us more control over typographical characteristics, such as kerning and also provide more support for the full output.

A particular important feature of DTP is that it enable us see on the display screen how the document will appear when it printed. The costs of hardware that made a DTP is impractical for most uses. But, as the price of personal computers and printers are fallen, DTP have become increasingly popular for publishing newsletters, brochures, books and other documents that required a typesetter.

Once if we produced a document with DTP system, we can output directly to a printer or also we can produce a post script file which we can then take to a service bureau. The service bureau has special machines that convert the file to film, which can be used to make plates for offset printing.

Desk top publishing ka abbreviation (short name) hai D.T.P. Desk top publishing (DTP) ने media production में एक अपेक्षाकृत नई प्रगति है जो publisher को print या उन्हें final touch देने से पहले अपने products को digital रूप से view और revise करने की अनुमति देता है। Websites, newspapers, magazines, newsletters, pamphlets & flex banner को Desktop publishing techniques और software के जरिए बनाया जा सकता है। इस area में डिजिटल डिज़ाइन और संपादन कौशल महत्वपूर्ण हैं, और इसलिए computer और रचनात्मक software के साथ एक मजबूत परिचित अनिवार्य है.
